about maranda vandergriff
I've had a pencil and paper in my hand since I can remember. Art has always been my passion. I taught myself Photoshop at the age of 8--thankfully I’ve gotten better since then. In everything I do, I seek opportunities to design. I believe that spreading awareness is best done visually. Every design has a purpose. Good design achieves that purpose in a pleasing and well thought out manner. Midnight Fire Media is my one-woman design company started as a class project in middle school. It became my launch pad for graphic design and video production, my weapons of choice. I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee and am currently studying graphic design at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Some of my work includes poster designs for theaters and independent films, logo and identity design for local businesses, promotional short films for companies such as Goodwill Industries of Knoxville, wedding and event invitations, band photography and album art, as well as posters and short films for various competitions and festivals. I'm learning every day as I tackle new design projects. Head over to my portfolio to see more. Or you can check me out on Dribbble. |
